Now you can have comfortable heating in any
building without the inconvenience, expense and unsightly service
requirements of traditional heating systems.
The clear advantages of underfloor heating have been well known
since Roman times, when its efficiency and high comfort levels
were admirably demonstrated inmany Nothern European Roman public
building.
Today the principal of near perfect heating systems can be
enjoyed in most building by installing underfloor heating with
your laminate or solid wood floor.
The proven technology comes in the form of flexible film heating
elements. The result is a gentle, natural living and working
environment. No need for hot radiators, which means that all
of your living or working space can be used without the inconvenience
of convection heating systems taking up unnecessary space.
Advantages of Underfloor Heating
The flexibility of the system makes it easy, quick and economical
to install, by competent DIY and approved installers.
Heating elements are out of sight under the floor, completely
invisible, silent and unobtrusive.
Requires no maintenance, there are no moving parts so nothing
can break or go wrong.
No dust circulation is created because this is an entirely
radiant (rather than convective) heating method, no draughts.
Can be simply connected directly to the mains supply’s 230v
- with a permanent installation by a qualified electrician.
Individual personal heat comfort levels are achieved with thermostats
and controls. Heat is evenly dispersed, not concentrated near
radiators or dust moving vents.
How does it work?
The heating element is composed of a uniform carbon layer on
a polyester film. Electrical energy is brought into the heating
film using two copper strips, and is transformed without loss
into thermal energy. The result is a balanced heat distribution
even with the lowest possible temperature leading to improved
economy, and user comfort.
Simplicity
The simplicity of the heating element installation is its main attraction, partly
because the installation work can be carried out in a significantly shorter time
than conventional systems.
